National Program Manager, Clinical Pharmacy Practice

Terri Jorgenson, RPH, BCPS, is a National Program Manager for the Clinical Pharmacy Practice Integration and Model Advancement with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM), Clinical Pharmacy Practice Office. She graduated Pharmacy School from Auburn University and has worked for the VA for more than 25 years in clinical practice, education, and leadership roles. She is a lead consultant on improving access to care by leveraging Pharmacist Practitioners on patient care teams, focusing on Pain Management, Opioid Safety and Substance Use Disorder care. She has current appointment with the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacist (ASHP) Section of Pharmacy Practice Leaders Advisory Group on Frontline Leaders. Terri has served as faculty with ASHP Midyear Clinical Meetings and Pharmacy Leaders Conferences. She has also been faculty for the ASHP Pain and Opioid Stewardship Certificate program, panelist for the 2018 ASHP Commission on Goals focused on Opioids and the 2019 ASHP Opioid Task Force. With the Maryland Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Terri represents MSHP in the ASHP House of Delegates and is an MSHP Board Member.
