Dr. Alfred Awuah earned his BS in Biological Science from Georgia State University and PharmD from the University of Georgia. He then completed a two-year combined PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency at Houston Methodist Hospital while concurrently enrolled in the MS in Pharmacy Leadership and Administration program through the University of Houston. Alfred is currently a Medication Safety Officer at UC Davis Health and serves as Vice Chair of the ASHP New Practitioners Forum where he is passionate about advanced roles within the profession of pharmacy. Outside of pharmacy, Alfred enjoys hot yoga, trying new restaurants, and following NBA basketball (go Hawks!).
