Adam Saulles, PharmD, BCACP, CSP is the Senior Clinical Manager at Credena/Providence Health System Specialty & Community Pharmacies in Portland, OR. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Michigan. He has worked in health system specialty & community pharmacy practice since 2012. He started his career at the University of Michigan Specialty Pharmacy, where his primary clinical focuses included transplant, hepatitis C, MS, and transitions-of-care clinical program development. In 2016, he joined the Credena/Providence Health System team in Portland, OR, where he created multiple disease state-specific SP clinical programs and tracking tools for patient outcomes. His goal as a health system pharmacy leader is to deliver unfragmented specialty & community pharmacy care to improve patient outcomes and meet the needs of patients receiving both specialty and retail medications. In his current role as senior clinical manager, he oversees specialty clinical services, outcomes, and metrics. In addition to overseeing clinical teams & co-chairing SP quality council, he has been heavily involved in Credena’s specialty pharmacy technology implementation, including implementation of a two-way HIPAA compliant text messaging platform to fill a gap in patient communication preference, while improving patient outcomes & SP efficiencies. Dr. Saulles has several specialty pharmacy-related publications and has been an active member in the ASHP SSPP Outcomes and Value SAG since 2020.
