Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor – Critical Care & Emergency Medicine, and PGY2 Critical Care Residency Program Director

Alyson M. Esteves, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, is the Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor for Critical Care and Emergency Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. Esteves is also the PGY2 Critical Care Residency Program Director. After earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, Dr. Esteves completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She then completed a PGY2 critical care residency at Baylor University Medical Center, before coming to Dartmouth-Hitchcock. Dr. Esteves’ primary practice area is in the medical intensive care unit. Her research interests include improving transitions into critical care from the emergency department and/or critical care transport, as well as quality improvement related to sedation and analgesia. She is also an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology section, the New Hampshire Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and serves as an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists residency program guest practitioner surveyor.
