Christine Roussel, PharmD, BCOP, BCSCP is a Board Certified in Oncology and Sterile Compounding with a Bachelors in Toxicology and Doctorate in Pharmacy from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She is the Vice President of Clinical Support Services at Doylestown Hospital. Dr. Roussel is currently the chair of the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy and an appointed member of the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Advisory Board.
Dr. Roussel’s idea of fun is providing continuing education to pharmacists, physicians and nurses! She focuses on occupational exposure to hazardous drugs, sterile/non-sterile compounding, Medical Cannabis and clinical and legislative topics, such as drug diversion prevention, pharmaceutical waste and contamination. She has authored articles on occupational exposure to hazardous drugs, as protecting healthcare providers’ DNA is her primary passion!
Dr. Roussel provides continuous continuing education through Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at St. Joseph's University on Medical Cannabis for health care provides seeking to participate in the PA Medical Marijuana program, and is a facilitator/content author/consultant for Medisca/LP3 Network.
Dr. Roussel is a proud past present of the Pennsylvania Society of Health System Pharmacy! In 2016 PSHP honored her with the Joe E. Smith Award, in 2018 she was nationally recognized as “40 Under 40 in Oncology”; in 2020 the University of the Sciences presented her with the “Young Alumnus Award.”
