Anastasia Jenkins, PharmD, BCNSP, currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy and practices in nutrition support at Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi. Dr. Jenkins serves as the PGY1 residency program coordinator and nutrition support coordinator at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi. She coordinates experiential education for first through fourth year pharmacy students at the institution and serves as a preceptor for the internal medicine residency program. Dr. Jenkins completed her PharmD coursework at the University of Mississippi and her PGY1 residency at North Mississippi Medical Center. Her practice and research interests include parenteral nutrition, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and pharmacy practice advancement. Dr. Jenkins is a long-standing member of the Mississippi Society of Health-System Pharmacists, having served in the roles of President, Treasurer, Membership Coordinator, and Practice Advancement Initiative Chairman and has received the MSHP New Practitioner Award and Innovative Practice Awards. She is the current President of the Mississippi Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. Dr. Jenkins has most recently served ASHP on the Commission on Affiliate Relations.
