Dr. Stephanie Seyse received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Duquesne University, and her Doctor of Pharmacy from The Ohio State University. Upon graduation, she completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Buffalo General Medical Center where she is currently the Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator and the Residency Program Director for both the PGY1 pharmacy and PGY2 Internal Medicine residency programs.
She is passionate about advancing practice for all pharmacists as evidenced by her work with professional pharmacy organizations. She has been very active in professional organizations throughout her career and has held numerous leadership positions at both the local and state level for the New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists (NYSCHP) including NYSCHP President and most recently the Chair of the NYSCHP House of Delegates. Dr. Seyse is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of pharmacists and has been precepting IPPE/APPE students and PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents on a variety of learning experiences for almost 30 years. She recently received the American Association of College of Pharmacy’s Distinguished Preceptor Recognition for demonstrating a sustained commitment to excellence in experiential education, pharmacy practice and community service.
