Nicholas J. Cotoia Jr., PharmD, BCPS is a critical care clinical pharmacist specialist based in New York City. He graduated from the University of New England College of Pharmacy in Portland, ME. His current research and practice interests include sedation, refractory shock, medication safety and critical care quality improvement. He serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Johnson & Wales University Center for Physician Assistant Studies, and is a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents. He is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist. Cotoia holds committee involvements on the code blue and medication safety committees and is a member of SCCM, ACCP, RISHP and ASHP. In his free time, he enjoys traveling anywhere warm and spending time with family and friends.
