Diana Violanti, PharmD, BCPS is a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in Supportive and Palliative Care at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCCN cancer institute in Buffalo, New York. In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Violanti created and serves as the pharmacist-lead for the Opioid Stewardship Committee. She completed her pharmacy degree at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and a PGY2 Residency in Pain Management and Palliative Care at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. In addition to patient care and institutional service roles, Dr. Violanti engages in research focused on non-pharmacologic symptom management modalities, resilience and well-being, and appropriate medication use in patients with advanced illness.
