Dr. Brody Maack received his PharmD degree from NDSU, and subsequently completed a PGY1 residency in Fergus Falls, MN. He has experience in the hospital setting, primarily in the emergency department, in St. Cloud, MN, where he also developed an ambulatory care clinical practice at the CentraCare Family Health Center, a hospital-based clinic.
He is currently associate professor of practice in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the NDSU School of Pharmacy, where he teaches pathophysiology and therapeutics of cardiovascular medicine. His clinical practice is at Family HealthCare clinic in Fargo, a federally qualified health center, where he sees patients in an office-based setting for comprehensive medication management, with use of collaborative prescribing authority. He is a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist, a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist, and his clinical site is host to APPE students on rotations.
Dr. Maack’s research experience is focused on the expansion of pharmacy practice using an implementation science-based approach, and he is currently working on the implementation of billable pharmacist-provided tobacco cessation services in North Dakota. He currently serves as the Immediate Past-Chair of the ASHP Section of Ambulatory Care Practitioners.
