Dr. Brandon L. Keith, PharmD, DPLA, BCACP has served simultaneously as the Johns Hopkins Care at Home (JHCH) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Workgroup Co-Chair, for the past 4 years, and as a Clinical Coordinator III for Solid Organ Transplant within the Specialty Pharmacy Services team, for the past 8 years.
Dr. Keith earned his Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from The University of Maryland, College Park. After graduating from pharmacy school, he completed a PGY-1 Community-based Pharmacy Residency with Johns Hopkins Home Care Group. He was the Keynote Speaker at The University of Maryland School of Pharmacy Class of 2022 White Coat Ceremony.
Dr. Keith is a Diplomate of the Pharmacy Leadership Academy (DPLA), and a Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP). He completed the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Pharmacy Leadership Academy Program, the ASHP Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Certificate, and the ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Certificate: Management Basics.
As DEI Workgroup Co-Chair, he leads the workgroup’s strategy to “prioritize the ongoing development of a diverse and inclusive workforce that promotes societal justice and actively supports anti-racist policies and procedures.”
Dr. Keith is passionate about educating, encouraging, serving, leading, and inspiring his patients and colleagues around him, and promoting the value of diversity in healthcare providers and patients.
