Kevin Zinchuk, PharmD, CCRP graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2011 with a Doctorate in Pharmacy and joined the Investigational Drug Services team at Brigham and Women's Hospital the same year. Kevin, currently the Pharmacy Manager at BWH IDS, has collaborated closely with hundreds of researchers in both the public and private sectors to conceptualize, develop and operationalize clinical trials. Kevin worked as a subject matter expert for BWH in transitioning clinical trial medication documentation from paper orders to Epic Systems’ electronic health record. Through collaboration with clinical trial pharmacy leadership across all Mass General Brigham institutions as well as Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Kevin strives to advance investigational drug practice in the state of Massachusetts. As the Chair of the BWH Pharmacy Rapid Cycle Process Improvement Committee, an active member of the Mass General Brigham Institutional Review Board, as well as a member of other departmental, institutional, enterprise and professional organization committees, Kevin has consistently worked to improve overall pharmacy operations, clinical trial practice and patient care. Over the course of Kevin’s career, he has enjoyed precepting numerous pharmacy students and residents on Investigational Drug Service rotations. Kevin established a new PGY2 pharmacy residency program at BWH in Investigational Drug and Research to help facilitate the continued expansion of the research pharmacist's role in clinical trial practice.
