Advocate Health – Aurora St. Luke's South Shore
Margaret Treutel (Lundholm) has extensive experience in pharmacy health system leadership through her years of residency training and now serves as the Director of Pharmacy at Aurora St. Luke’s South Shore, a 275-bed hospital that is part of Advocate Health, located in Cudahy, WI. Since early 2022, she has been the hospital's Emergency Management co-chair, primarily responsible for hospital preparedness through coordinating drills, revamping committee and the incident management structure, as well as ensuring overall compliance to emergency management standards and regulations. Maggie serves on her hospital’s incident command team as the Ancillary Services Director and as an Incident Commander. Additionally, she completed specialized training for Certified Hospital Emergency Coordinator (CHEC) to gain more specialty experience in emergency preparedness operations. She published an article in American Journal of Health-System Pharmacy (AJHP) on a health system pharmacy emergency response to unforeseen disasters (i.e. COVID-19) and presented at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Midyear Clinical Meeting 2023 on Establishing Emergency Management in Health-System Pharmacy. Lastly, she participates in the Advocate Health’s Emergency Preparedness Committee and is part of the leadership team that created the System Pharmacy Emergency Management Committee.
