Clinical Resource Hub Pharmacy Program Manager

Addison Ragan, PharmD, BCPS is the VA National Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) Pharmacy Manager since it's inception in 2019. She has been involved in developing and standardizing the role of the clinical pharmacist practitioner (CPP) within this innovative telehealth care model. She has led efforts to integrate the CPP into CRH virtual telehealth and teams across multiple care areas and developed policy and guidance to integrate health professional trainees into the virtual training model. She is a member of the new ASHP Section of Digital and Telehealth Practitioners Executive Committe and currently serves on the VA National Clinical Pharmacy Advisory Board and National Clinical Pharmacy Practice Council championing clinical pharmacy practice innovation.
She is a graduate of Harrison School of Pharmacy in Auburn, AL, and following graduation was an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist Pratitioner with the Central Alabamba Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS). She served as the Associate Chief of Clinical Pharmacy for CAVHCS for 7 years and expanded clinicial pharmacy practice across both inpatient and outpatient practice areas including implementing a a PGY-1 Residency Program. She then served as the VISN 7 VA Academic Detailing Pharmacy Program Manager from 2015 to 2019 where she led the development and diffusion of educational campaigns across the enterprise for heart failure, COPD, urinary track infections, and new provider training.
