Dr. Brittain is a graduate of the Wilkes University School of Pharmacy where she earned her PharmD. Following graduation, Dr. Brittain completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency in Community Care with Campbell University, North Carolina. Dr. Brittain is a Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. She also serves as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with Ambulatory Pharmacy Services within MUSC Health – Charleston specializing in preventative care programs and employer-based wellness. She serves as the Residency Program Director of the PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program at MUSC Health. Dr. Brittain is active with many national organizations, including AACP, APhA, ASHP, and PLS. Dr. Brittain’s interests include leadership development, immunizations, medication therapy management, and education and training of students, pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians.
