Dr. Alex Infante, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice, and Texas A&M College of Medicine, Department of Primary Care and Rural Medicine. Addititonally, he serves as a Family Medicine Clinical Pharmacist within a teaching clinic for the Family Medicine residency training clinic. Prior to this role, Dr. Infante completed an Academic Fellowship in Family Medicine with the Univerity of Illinois Chicago Retzsky College Pharmacy (UIC) in 2024. Dr. Infante received his PharmD from UIC in 2021 and went on to complete an Ambulatory Focused PGY1 program with the University of Pennsylvania Health System. In his current role, Dr. Infante leads scholarship of teaching and learning research initiatives with his skills-based courses at Texas A&M while completing his Master of Health Professions Education through UIC with an interest in professional co-curriculars, as well as serving as a faculty advisor for multiple student organizations with the Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy. His ultimate goal is to advance the scholarship of teaching and learning within pharmacy education to aid in the development of future pharmacists who will push the profession's capacity and scope to new heights.
