Christopher M. Scott is the Chief Clinical Operating Officer at Eskenazi Health in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Scott received his BS and PharmD from Purdue University. He completed a PGY1 and PGY2 critical care residency at Indiana University Health. Dr. Scott is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) and has been recognized as a Fellow in Critical Care Medicine by the American College of Critical Care Medicine, and a Fellow of the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists.
Dr. Scott holds a faculty appointment as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Purdue University College of Pharmacy. Scott previously practiced as the clinical pharmacy specialist for trauma/surgical critical care and also served as the residency program director for the PGY1 pharmacy residency, and PGY2 critical care pharmacy residency at Eskenazi Health. He has subsequently transitioned from direct patient care and academia over to progressive health-system leadership positions.
His professional interests include pharmacy post-graduate training, patient safety, advancement of clinical services, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). Dr. Scott is a member of numerous professional organizations including the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American College of Healthcare Executives, Healthcare Financial Management Association, and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
