Dr. Ohler received a B.S. degree in pharmacy from Ohio Northern University and a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of Toledo. She completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a pediatric pharmacy specialty residency at Children’s Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She is a board certified pediatric pharmacy specialist (BCPPS) and a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (FCCP). Dr. Ohler is currently the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Pharmacy, as well as, a pediatric clinical pharmacist specializing in neonatal intensive care at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System. Her practice and research interests include developmental pharmacokinetics, antimicrobial stewardship, and pharmacy residency training.
