Elyse MacDonald, PharmD, MS, BCPS is a director of pharmacy services with a focus in research pharmacy at Stanford Health Care. Previously, she was the pharmacy manager for the Investigational Drug Service at the University of Utah Health. Prior to this position, she was a drug information specialist with the University of Utah Drug Information Service. Elyse is also a co-founder of Peak Pharmacy Group - Pharmacists in Consultancy.
She has presented the research design and statistics module for the ASHP/ACCP Oncology Pharmacy Review and Recertification Course since 2014 and has presented at other national and state pharmacy conferences. She was recently reappointed to the Editorial Advisory Board for AJHP. Dr. MacDonald was appointed as a member of the ASHP Commission on Affiliate Relations from 2017-2020. She has been a member of ASHP SCSS Section Advisory Group (SAG) on Emerging Sciences and is a current member of the Clinical Leadership SAG. She also served as a network facilitator for Pharmacoeconomics and Drug Policy Development. Elyse is also a past-president for the Utah Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She served as a Utah delegate in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2023 for the ASHP House of Delegates.
