Mallory Turner, PharmD, BCPS, BCCP is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Harding University College of Pharmacy (HUCOP) in Searcy, Arkansas. She graduated in the inaugural class of HUCOP, completed a residency at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock, AR, and worked as an inpatient clinical pharmacist before returning to HUCOP as a faculty member. Her current clinical practice site is the inpatient cardiology floor at Unity Health – White County Medical Center in Searcy, AR where she precepts pharmacy students and residents. Her practice interests include acute cardiology care and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Turner is one of three board-certified cardiology pharmacists in Arkansas, and is the only pharmacist in the state dually certified in pharmacotherapy and cardiology. She received the 2024 HUCOP Teacher Achievement Award and was twice voted Residency Preceptor of the Year at Unity Health. Turner serves as the Program and Education Council Chair for the Arkansas Association of Health-System Pharmacists, the chair of the HUCOP Curriculum Committee, the faculty advisor for the HUCOP Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists, a peer reviewer for The Senior Care Pharmacist, and is a member of the Residency Advisory Committee at Unity Health. Professional memberships include AACP, ASHP, and AAHP. She resides in Arkansas with her three young children and husband of 12 years.
