Taylor Grupa, PharmD has served as a population health pharmacist at Essentia Health for over three years. Prior to starting in this role, she completed a PGY1 residency through the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy with a focus on medication therapy management. Through this experience, she cultivated a passion for chronic disease management and helping patients in understanding their medication regimens. In her current role, Taylor promotes value-based medication use, concentrating on improving medication-related health plan quality measures. Committed to delivering high-quality care, she actively serves on her health system's Ambulatory Safety and Quality Committee. Taylor's commitment extends to education, where she finds fulfillment in mentoring pharmacy students and residents. She also enjoys providing educational presentations to providers, pharmacists, and population health nurse colleagues within the health system on a variety of topics including quality measures, preventative health recommendations, and high-risk medication use.
