Julianna Burton, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, BCACP, FCSHP, DPLA, Director, Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacy for UCOP, has 25 years of experience as a pharmacist, including 20 years in a supervisory or management role. She received her PharmD from University of the Pacific in 1999, followed by a residency in Pharmacy Practice, and finally a Masters in Business, Health Administration in 2018. Her current position is as a Director of Ambulatory Care Pharmacy serves over the five academic medical centers across the University of California. In this role, she helps to standardize best practices and improve the research coming out of these sites in the ambulatory care arena. Dr. Burton's areas of interest are ambulatory care, specifically working in the areas of primary care, transitions of care, population health, cell and gene therapy, and specialty pharmacy. She was on the Board of Directors for CSHP from 2007-2011, and has maintained membership on various CSHP committees since that time. She served in all of the officer roles at SVSHP from 2003-2006, and served in the officer roles for NCCCP from 2016-2020. Dr. Burton also serves on Vizient's PIE committee and on ASHP’s SAG committee on Amcare Education.
