Allison Gorseth, PharmD, BCPS, is an Emergency Medicine Clinical Specialist at Hartford Hospital where she also serves as the Residency Program Coordinator for the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree with a minor in Public Health from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and is currently pursuing a MBA in Healthcare. Allison is a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist in Emergency Medicine at Hartford Hospital, where she plays a critical role in managing trauma activations, medical emergencies, and stroke alerts. Her expertise extends to bedside compounding and point-of-care testing, ensuring timely and accurate care in high-pressure environments. Beyond her clinical duties, Allison is deeply involved in pharmacy education and leadership. She serves as the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator, overseeing the development of residents and contributing to the pharmacy department's continuous improvement. Her commitment to education is further reflected in her role as a preceptor for numerous residency programs. Allison is actively engaged in professional organizations, holding notable positions such as Executive Committee Member of the New Practitioners Forum of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). She also contributes to the Connecticut Society of Health System Pharmacists (CSHP) as a member of the Education Subcommittee. Her leadership in these organizations demonstrates her dedication to advancing the pharmacy profession and mentoring the next generation of pharmacists
