Akraam Abdel-Kerem, PharmD, MS

Pharmacy Informatics Resident
Houston Methodist

Dr. Akraam Abdel-Kerem is currently a PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics resident at Houston Methodist Hospital. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Master of Science in Health Informatics from the University of Minnesota. At Houston Methodist, Dr. Abdel-Kerem focuses on reporting, automation, and clinical decision support. He is working on innovative solutions for central pharmacy automation, automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) medication loading models, and automation of ADC downtime planning. Dr. Abdel-Kerem is an active member of the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology (SOPIT) group.
