Opioid Stewardship Coordinator

Dr. Uritsky is the Opioid Stewardship Coordinator at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) in Philadelphia. She completed post-graduate training in pain management and palliative care and was a founding member of the Palliative Care Service at HUP. She is RPD for the PGY2 in Pain Management and Palliative Care, Co-Chair of the Penn Medicine Opioid Task Force and Immediate Past-President of the Scoiety of Pain and Palliative Care Pharmacy (SPPCP). She presents nationally and internationally and provides clinical support to teams caring for patients with complex pain needs. She was awarded Palliative Care Practitioner of the Year by PainWeek in 2015, the 2020 Pennsylvania Society of Health-System Pharmacists (PSHP) Joe E. Smith Award for excellence in practice and service to the community and pharmacy profession, and the 2023 PSHP Innovative Collaborative Practice Award for patients with Opioid Use Disorder.
