Brittany Norton, PharmD currently works as a Pharmacy Manager of Oncology and Infusion for Sutter Health in Santa Rosa, CA. She completed her PharmD at UCSF School of Pharmacy and is currently pursuing an MBA in Healthcare Administration with Pittsburg State University. Brittany worked with Cardinal Health for 7 years as a Regional Manager of FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) Pharmacies for the West. It was here that Brittany developed a strong interest in rural health and developing creative solutions to healthcare issues that rural areas face. While at Cardinal Health, Brittany developed several innovative clinical pharmacist positions that were rolled out at several FQHCs. She also instituted "Project Diabetes" which resulted in improved A1c and increased 340B savings for the health centers. Brittany was the keynote speaker for several webinars related to the roles and benefits of pharmacists in FQHC's for Cardinal Health. She also co-authored a CE on MAT Therapy. At Sutter Health Brittany worked as a pharmacy supervisor and now a manager of an outpatient infusion center and oncology department. Working with Sutter Health, Brittany has helped roll out the PTC program which is a pharmacist led oral chemotherapy clinic. She has also developed new APPE rotations for pahrmacy students, including interprofessional ones. Brittany is currently working to develop Sutter Santa Rosa's first PGY1 residency.
