Dr. Gregory Kelly is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration at Rutgers University Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. Dr. Kelly completed pharmacy school at University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy and a Masters of Science in Clinical Toxicology at The University of Florida. Dr. Kelly completed postgraduate training in pharmacy (PGY1) at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN and Emergency Medicine pharmacy (PGY2) at University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. Following training Dr. Kelly practiced as an emergency medicine clinical pharmacist and specialist at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania prior to joining faculty at Rutgers University. Dr. Kelly maintains a practice in the emergency department in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ where he is the residency program director for the PGY2 Emergency Medicine pharmacy residency shared between Rutgers University and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Kelly is an active member of American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM). Academic interests of Dr. Kelly’s include antimicrobial stewardship in the emergency department, toxicology, anticoagulation reversal and critical care.
