Anthony Tagavi, PharmD, JD

Director
University of Kentucky HealthCare

Anthony Tagavi is a Director of Ambulatory Pharmacy Services at University of Kentucky HealthCare. His pharmacies mainly focus on clinic setting services including primary care, infectious disease, endicrinology, and more. This includes disproportionate share and Ryan White covered entity services to eligible patients.

Dr. Tagavi is a graduate from the pharmacy (PharmD) and law schools (JD) at the University of Kentucky. He is both a licensed pharmacist with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy and an attorney with the Kentucky Bar Association. He is also a faculty member at both the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy (adjunct) and Sullivan University College of Pharmacy (associate). Dr. Tagavi has had the privilege to serve the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a member on the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy since 2021, while currently serving as the Vice-President for the 2024 calendar year.
