Clinical Pharmacist - Medication Use Safety and Policy

Madison Cole, PharmD, BCPS, is a Clinical Pharmacist in Medication Use Safety and Policy at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy, along with a Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Health Informatics and Information Management Certificate. During her PGY-1 residency at Unity Health – White County Medical Center, she developed a strong interest in medication safety and policy and went on to complete a PGY-2 Medication-Use Safety and Policy residency at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Upon completion, she obtained her board certification in pharmacotherapy and accepted a position as a Medication Use Safety and Policy Clinical Pharmacist at St. Jude, where she serves as secretary for the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Madison is active in ASHP, serving as a member on the New Practitioners Forum Advisory Group for Resident Advancement for the 2024-2025 term. Practice interests include formulary management, smart infusion pumps, and performance improvement.
