Medication Safety, Pharmacy Quality Management Coordinator

Huy Le, PharmD is the Medication Safety/Pharmacy Quality Management Coordinator for Loma Linda University Medical Center. She is also an assistant professor of the Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy who teaches the Medication Safety elective. In addition, she serves as Residency Program Director to the PGY-2 Medication-Use Safety and Policy program at Loma Linda University Health. Dr. Le graduated from the University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy. After pharmacy school, she completed her PGY-1 residency at the West Los Angeles Veteran Affairs. Since her completion of her residency program, Dr. Le has served as a clinical pharmacist and Surgical Intensive Care Unity Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She currently serves as a member of various committees in the hospital to ensure medication use safety and improve medication-related processes for patient safety and best practices. Dr. Le's interest includes conducting process improvements; developing guidelines and protocols; teaching and mentoring pharmacy residents and students; conducting research in medication safety, mental health, and critical care related areas; and educating and working with all healthcare professionals to improve patient safety. She is an ultra-marathoner who enjoys running and spending time with family.
